Once upon a time there was a beautiful creature living in the clouds in a distant universe before the creation of Earth. This beautiful creature desired more than anything to find a companion to share the wondrous clouds on which it lived. The creature knew loneliness but not friendship or love, or laughter or joy. And it wanted more from the multitude of existing clouds, but it didn’t know what that was.
One night, this beautiful creature dreamed about a place called the Milky Way, where springs and lakes and splendid fountains sprinkled gentle warmth into its world. Where creatures loved each other so much that the universe was blessed with laughter and sensible, protective feelings, as if their world would never end. Then the creature heard a voice inside the clouds directing it to wrap the silk blanket around its body, close its eyes, snap its fingers, and in seconds it would fly to a wondrous new place.
Could the creature believe this dream? Could it embark on this journey, without knowing it would ever return? Could it take a chance that the dream was telling it the truth?
In an instant, the creature awakened from her dream and heard a voice calling to her. “Sacenta, follow the ray in front of you to your new place of existence. It is the golden thread to the Milky Way. There you will find all the happiness in the world and the companions you have always wnated. You will find joy and laughter, prosperity and comfort. Follow the golden thread, and you will find love.”
When she heard her true name, Sacenta wrapped the silk blanket around her, closed her eyes, snapped her fingers, and in a flash found herself on a soft, floating cloud, like a sailing ship amidst dozens of creatures who looked vaguely familiar. Suddenly, she regained her memory from thousands of years ago, and her family, who had mysteriously disappeared in an earthquake that shaked the universe to pieces, surrounded her with joy.
“Sacenta,” they cried, “we are your long, lost sisters and brothers. Come with us, and we will show you where our parents lie.” Sacenta couldn’t believe this reunion was real and shook her so absolutely that she fell into her family’s arms and sobbed.
She had found true love.
